dealer installed Pursuit Security system and remote starter
Hi,
I am purchasing a honda and would like a security system and remote starter installed. The dealership quotes $350 (Canadian) (installed price) for the security system (Pursuit). For the security system and remote starter combo (Pursuit) it is $600 (installed). I don't mind paying that if it is a reasonable price... I just don't want to be gouged. Getting these installed at the dealership means they will be warranteed for 3yrs/60,000km. If I buy an alarm system it may void the warrantee on the car (according to the dealer). Has anyone bought their alarm/remote start from the dealership? Do these prices seem really high?
