I am in market to by 2004 Odyssey-EX-L. I already found good deals on
the
Car itself.

Wanted to buy Extended warranty (from honda only) from the dealer.
Would like to get input from others how much they have paid for it.

I asked a friend who paid $1200 for 7year/75000 miles($0 deductible )

You ABSOLUTELY need to head to http://www.odyclub.com

You don't have to buy it from the dealer, and you don't have to buy it
right away. $900 seems to be the target price for the 7 year/100K
miles/0 deductible Hondacare warranty.

Odyclub is also getting close to a group buy or something on Hondacare
warranties..

I've posted the name before, literally within the last week, in this
forum. I actually found this name at the odyclub site Elmo recommends
(even though I have an Accord, not an Odyssey. Her name is Megan
Seaton at a Honda dealer in Maryland. Her email is
meganseaton1@yahoo.com

She quoted $750 for a 7 yr / 100K / 0 deductible policy for my 03
Accord. The Odyssey is probably different, but it's certainly no where
near $1,200.

I suggest that you buy it if the cost is less than $800.00. This is
especially true if you plan to keep it for 7 years or more. I realize that
other people think that it is a bad investment. If you are worry a
lot--like me--buy it.
