Test drove the car anf found it surged only in first gear.Improved as
car warmed up. Also there was an add-on dash switch to manually turn on engine fan beacuse crx sensors are supposedly un reliable. Plus ther's a constant red light on dash that says ppmff or some such. Anyone help me out? |

I'm guessing that dash light says PGM-FI
Which refers to the Programmed Fuel Injection. It can mean anything from a bad sensor, to a significant and costly problem with the FI system. I'd avoid the car, it'll be a money pit.
