Default Rattling Heat Shields

I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX Sedan with 204,000 miles.

During my most recent oil change, I was informed that my heat shields for
my catalytic converters were rattling.

Does it make sense to replace them since the underside of the car is
already a heat shield?

Buy some really long worm-type hose clamps in a hardware store plumbing
department. Use those to secure the heat-shield and keep it from rattling.

I suppose you could call the underside of the car a "heat shield" of sorts,
but right against that is your carpeting and interior trim. It's best to
try and keep the shields on. A new set is about $60 or so.

I've used a coat hanger in lieu of clamps--has always worked out OK
