Default tree sap on 03 Accord

I didn't park under a pine tree but I was near one and I had SAP hit my car.

Does anyone have car cleaning tips for the removal of tree sap? I 've tried
to scrape it off , but I don't want to damage my finish. Anyone have any
tips on how to remove it?

thanks

Bug & Tar remover, available at any auto store or department store in the
automotive section. Get that sap off ASAP!!! If you wait, it may bake
itself in the sun and leave really nasty discolorations.

You will have to reapply wax after you use the Bug&Tar remover, of course.

Cheers,

Pete

I use rubbing alcohol without any problem.

Major pain -- that happened to my Acura Legend. I agree with the
rubbing alcohol solution. It works great with minimal rubbing. Wax the
affected area after, though. And completely avoid parking under pine
trees especially in hot weather.
