at that point the car surges or jumps, but if you ease into the
throttle it will be fine it only when u cram fuel into it is when it

Eliminate these basics:

Thoroughly purge the cooling system of air, exactly per the
manual's directions. Certain sensors that provide input to
the car's computer must be submerged in coolant to work
properly.

Consider a new oxygen sensor. A failing old one will not
necessarily set off the check engine light. Buy only an OEM
sensor. Denso OEM ones are available on the net for much
less than what your dealer wants.

remove all the junk off your key ring and manually return the key to the
full "run" position after starting. if that helps, you need a new
ignition switch.

how does the ign.switch affect a 3K rpm surge?

I note he didn't change the air filter.....
That "gassy smell" could be bad injectors.Maybe they're past the point
where injector cleaner would do any good.

Oh,I'd also wonder about the throttle position sensor(TPS).
It could have a bad zone on the element,or be dirty.

vibration - some resonance at that frequency perhaps.

/highly/ unusual for honda injectors to get that bad, and certainly not
in only 180k miles
