Try again--someone else on a different day may help you. If you have a
really hard question--you may not get any responses.

For example, several weeks ago--someone mentioned that he disconnected his
battery and his radio would no longer work. He had lost the code and
wanted someone to send him the code that he needed.

Needless to say, no person provided him with the information that he wanted.
He probably feels the same way you now feel. The reality is no one could
ever give him the code.

You could have answered him how he could get the code.
I bought a Honda as well a week ago and I didn't receive a code for my
radio. So probably I'll need this code if the battery ever has to be
disconected, or do not all factory radios have a security code (I have a 94
Accord with a radio cassette). Can I get the code for my radio from any
Honda dealer and what information do I need for that (VIN or serial number
of radio)?

Honda radios with security code protection have a blinking LED light on the
front panel. You could call the dealer and find out what's needed to get
the code.I would think you'd need the radio s/n,as radios can be swapped
around and not be recorded by a dealer.

You might also search the owner's manual for the code or how to get it.

IIRC, someone did explain this, i.e., pull the radio to get the s/n.
With the s/n a dealer can tell you the radio code.
