The engine warning light went on after a fillup. Sure enough the gas
cap was loose. I tightened it many turns. But that was 50 miles ago. The car has been used for at least 10 short drives, and the light is still on. Shouldn't the light be off by now? Maybe it's something besides the gas cap. Any way to get the codes from a Honda? TIA |

The only way to find out what was going on (for me) was to take the car in to the dealership and have the code read and cleared. That being done, the car wouldn't cause the check engine light to come back on, so there was nothing to repair/replace. Having the code read and cleared, did cost forty six dollars and change, though. -- Brian www.accesswave.ca/~orion |

Hi,
If you remove battery cable and reattach, it'll clear it. Whether this is some governmental/environmental 'law' or not, I can't say at this time. -- Brian www.accesswave.ca/~orion |
