Default 2002 CRV

The check engine light went on after a fill up. Sure enough the gas cap
was loose. Even though I tightened up the cap and have made at least 10
trips for over 50 miles, the light is still on. Shouldn't it have gone
off by now? Maybe it's something else. Any way to get the trouble
codes on these CRV's? TIA

Go to the dealer where you bought the car. At mine, they give you a onetime
freebie for this very occurrence, then they charge for not learning from the
first mistake.

That means make sure anyone who drives the car, or fills the tank
knows to turn tighten the cap until it clicks three times. What a
lovely system.
