Is the Accord capable of towing a popup trailer. Does anyone know the max
weight for towing with the Accord?

According to my Owners Manual for a 2001 Accord, it can tow a trailer not
exceeding 450 kilograms (1000 lb.). The weight on the tongue of the trailer
should be 10% of the total trailer weight.

It also gives GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) for the various models and
engine sizes, as well as, GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating), again for the
various models and engine sizes.

If you are fill it with Watermelons, Shotputs, or boiled pasta you may have
some trouble, but if it is somewhat empty you should not have any problems.
Seriously though, it probably depends on what year and engine you are
talking about.
