Several of the online Honda parts retailers have instructions that you
can look at online before purchasing. I reviewed the instructions for installing the autodimming mirror, and decided I had better things to do with my life! The mirror part is easy. Routing the new wiring harness through the headliner and down the front window post sounded like a pain in the a. I envisioned a headliner that never quite fit right again or squeaked or whatever. I decided the mirror wasn't that important to me after all. : - ) On Thu, 07 Aug 2003 20:00:58 GMT, "patviv" <patviv@operamail.com> wrote: > I want to remove the original rear view mirror that came with the car ( >2003 Honda accord LX ) to replace with an autodimming mirror. The instructions made it look pretty extensive. You have to remove the visors, and get under the headliner and down the window post. That alone seems like it would take a lot longer than 15 minutes. The work at the mirror location itself doesn't seem too bad; running the wires is what gave me pause. So what am I missing? |
