Yep, any of the "i" cars are fuel injected, Si, SEi, LXi. (and outside the
US, EXi, which isn't a different car, they just shifted the badging up... DX
became LX, LX became EX) The LXi also has a sun roof and alloy wheels if
the car was a 4 door. It's pretty much the same things as the EX now.

Does this still apply to the 1991 Civic LX?

No. All 88 and later civics were FI, so they dropped it on all but the Si.
