Default 2000 Accord V6 Auto Trans Drain Plug Torque

Could someone be kind enough to give me the torque specification for the
automatic transmission drain plug on my 2000 Honda Accord V6? Thanks in
advance. Stan

Tighten it up till you strip it, then back it up a quarter turn. bob

On the 2000 Acura TL the drain bolt torque is 36 lbf-ft. Yours should be
similar.

Nope! Just an old gas jockey that earned his way through college in
the late 60's as a gas station mechanic. Still enjoy working on my car.
