I've got a 1999 HR-V with the CVT auto box, and it's dropping small
amounts of transmission fluid on the ground after being driven. No leak while standing. The car's done about 32000 miles and is a year out of warranty. Having had a look, my local Honda dealer says it will cost about £500 plus parts and VAT as they'll have to take the gearbox off and may have to strip it. Sounds like extortion to me! Anybody had any experience of this problem and how best to deal with it? Many thanks Brian Undilute email address. |
