I'm having a problem with the inside surface of my windshield. I keep
getting this haze that doesn't seem to come with regular window cleaner. I know why the haze is there, but I can't seem to find the right product to remove it with. Should I be using something that's alcohol based to remove the haze? dave |

Because the haze 's chemical composition is unknown, who knows what
solvent will remove it? Said haze might be cause by a small leak from your heater core -- coolant -- or heater valve/hoses coming up through your defrosters and depositing a film of coolant (has something like alcohol in it) on your windshield. Or maybe you're use some dash/vinyl protectant product that is offgassing onto the windsheld. Try some rubbing alcohol and see if that works...I guess you're saying that a window cleaner -- with ammonia -- doesn't work. John D.
