I am looking at a 2003 civic LX sport and see that they come with Firestone
tires. They are 195 65R 15 (I think). Does anyone have suggestions on a better tire? I had firestones on my Focus and they weren't all that bad. Has anyone had success getting the dealer to swap tires on a new car? The local dealer that I spoke with said that I should "go down the road" and talk to a tire dealer. It would be cheaper than getting their service dept to swap tires. I am looking for suggestions on tires to leave on all season. I live in south western ontario (we get lots of snow in winter) so I am looking for a general all season tire. thanks |

Your aluminum rims will stay nicer, longer and your tires will last twice as long. My wife used to go to school London, Ont. & with the amount of snow down that way, snow tires are highly recommended, the degree of safety they provide is priceless. |

All-season is really "no-season", meaning these tires are OK but not great in any season. Cheers, Pete |
