I seem to recall reading in a car magazine that car companies tend to put
poor quality tires on new cars to keep the price down. They tested the
cornering abilites of several new cars with the factory tires and later
tested the same cars with the best quality (most expensive) tires they
could find for each model. The oornering abilities and overall "ride"
inproved tremendiously. I don't recall whether the new Honda Accord was
part of that group. I suggest that you install the most expensive and best
tires that you can find once the factory tires wear out.
