I assume you are refering to the Wheelskins product which I think Honda
offers. the only problem with tying off every spoke is that the wax thread does have a tendency to work it's way loose. If you have only one tie point then there is less opportunity for the thread to come off. If you start a new piece after a spoke you then have to tie a knot every time you start.
