when I was young and dumb, I had an Audi. yeah yeah. anyways, try changing
out your HUB BEARINGS. really. if you dont get that axle nut tight enough, or too tight, or if its not seated right, you can burn it right up. cheap part, hard fix. you will need to pop off the lower controll arm, take out the whole strut assemblies, have the old bearing pressed out, and the new one pressed in. and then put the strut assy. back in. good luck "Vic Zarka" <vnz@webtv.net> wrote in message news:10285-3EEDD7C3-394@storefull-2373.public.lawson.webtv.net... > I have changed the complete shafts twice on both sides.
