Hey, I have an idea. Get an American car!
My guess is that your car is too light, made of cheap plastic parts and
sounds like a humming bird farting in a coke bottle. My guess is the people
behind you are laughing so hard, that they are indeed fogging up your tail
lights with their breath.

it's most likely that the seal between the light housing and the car body is
leaking. easeist solution is to remove the light housing, check the seal -
order a new own if you can, and seal it with some clear silicon..
