Default Re: Can I put differnet tires on the car?

Most importantly, what year is the Civic? I "think" the '99 model DX came as
a hatchback and the tire size on that car was P185_65_R14. Now the 92-95
Civic DXs came in 2 door (but I think since '99 thery're known as Si models)
Thus, without the year, its hard to pinpoint the exact tire size.

You would have a hard time fitting the 13" tires on the 14" wheels anyway.
The 14" wheels give you better wear and a better ride. If they are original
equipment, your speedometer is calibrated for that size wheel/tire.

Sorry about hat. It's a 1994 Civic DX 2 door.

Mine are OEM, and my 1994 Civic DX coupe wears P175/70-R13's. DX's are
WAY below the SI trim level, and Edmunds.com says they didn't come as
an SI coupe in 1994. There is CX, VX, DX, LX, EX and SI models for
that year, roughly in that order of niceness.
