Hi D.H,
Just read your post and will still inquire with our service dept. My initial
guess is that there may be a short of some kind in the wiring possibly in
the ignition harness possibly some exposed wiring where condensation may be
getting in. Maybe you can recall the weather the last time its acted up. By
the way we have really great deals on 2003 models.

Sounds like the entire blower switch may be fried. Check a wiring diagram
to see if you can remove the fuse for the blower without affecting any vital
parts. Then, when it acts up again, pull that fuse and see if it starts.
You may be able to isolate the problem this way.

If you can't do it by pulling a fuse, try pulling the switch. However,
pulling the switch won't help if there's a short in the wiring before the
switch.
