Default brake fluid for a 2010 Honda Civic LX

This is not a request for an "official statement" on brake fluid changes.

My intention is to find out if using non-Honda brake fluid would void the terms of the warranty -- to the best of one's knowledge.

No, provided you use DOT3/DOT4 fluid.
