Default '93 Civic suddenly not starting, little blue plastic bits scattered under pedals.

Did you guess it ?

Those pesky nylon bushing/rests for the clutch depression
switch and clutch release switch .

Can't start the car if you do not have the clutch pedal
pressed and the nylon bushing/rests are the contact point
for those switches.

There are two on the clutch pedal and both disintegrated at
the same time. What a PITA to replace the one furthest up at
the top of the pedal at the pivot point !

so imagine a long bamboo skewer with double stick tape and
lying face up in the floorboard pushing the pedal in with
one hand while fishing the skewer with nylon bushing up to
the hole. It worked but it was a PITA and PITN and PITF.

There is a similar one in the brake pedal that just makes
your brake lights come on automatically and stay on till you
replace the nylon bit.

Learned about those here on

So, thanks to those who helped n the past
