Mike Goodall Has Bought a New Car.

His car is a 2007 Honda Accord.

He took delivery of it last week.

He has been driving it into the Mechanics Institute Chess Club in San
Francisco regularly. He will be driving it to major chess events in
the coming months.

Last year, Mike Goodall had a car accident while attempting to drive
from San Francisco to play in the US Open Chess Championship in
Chicago. The accident was health related and the car was totaled.

Since then, Mike has been fitted with a pacemaker. It was feared that
he would not be able to campaign actively as a candidate for the USCF
Executive Board.

However, during the past few days, Mike has started debating on the
online chess forums and it is clear that he is back in the fray.

As Mike points out, his car is the same car that James Bond drives,
except that it cannot convert into a submarine and it is not fitted
with a machine gun.
