Car Donation: Research is key when participating in a car donation
program.
Make sure that the charity is reputable and will put your car donation
to good use in a proper manner. Research all aspects of the
organization, including whether their program makes you eligible for a
car donation tax deduction, their policies and procedures regarding
large donations, such as cars and boats and more.
You should have the car donation appraised by a third party to
determine the value of the car. Be sure you have all appropriate
papers, including the title, with you at the point of transaction.
