Got the tank out and the new (after market) one in this morning. Did it
at the Honda-Acura Specialist. The owner, Greg, let me help. I'm REAL glad I didn't try to do it in my driveway. Best part was when the nuts on the bolts that hold the back of the tank straps broke loose from their spot welds, and Greg used a cutting torch to cut them off. Greg with a flaming torch, and me with a garden hose ready to put out the fire! I was able to spray the new tank with rubberized undercoating. Whole job turned out nice. Took about two hours. Now I'll see if I can get three or four more years out of the ole car. bob |
