I've cleaned the switch in the handle assembly and traced as far forward for
a possible short to ground but didn't find any. Anyone here who's dealt with this same issue before. It's a minor annoyance driving with a red light on on the dash but an annoyance just the same. Thanks for the help in advance. |

Thanks for the help in advance. -------------------------- Did you top up the reservoir under the hood? Have the brakes been serviced / flushed according to the schedule? 'Curly' |

Seth / Curly: Problem solved! Fluid level was just below the MIN line.
Thanks for the assist. Since the level was low, you really ought to check why that is. My guess is the brake pads are pretty worn. If so, the reservoir will try to overflow when the new ones are installed. That's not a big deal as long as the fluid is washed off thoroughly before it can eat the paint. You really don't want the brakes to get down to bare metal :-( Mike |
