Anybody have muffler rattle at certain engine rpm (2300rpm) on their
CRV? if so what was the cause?

Many Hondas do that one time or another . . . It's probably the
heatshield on the Catalytic Converter. See this link.

Read the last noise topic about CR-Vs too, since it probably applies to
your '01 as well.

I have 28k on mine never noticed any rattle in the exhaust.
