Hello:
I have gotten excellent advice here before. So here I go again! I drove the car to the store. Everything working perfectly. I get back in it and the door beep slowly died and now the car won't start. It won't turn over, no indicator lights, no beeps. Totally dead. A kind stranger offered to jump it and it started right up. Drove home (thank god) and once turned off, it won't start again. I searched around under the hood and noticed one of the spark plug wires (the one with a gold dot on it) was loose. I pulled it out and the metal shield inside it fell off. I put that back on, but still nothing. It will always start with a jump though. I'm sure this is an easy one. Any advice? Thanks in advance. If I figure it out first, I'll post a follow up. |

If your terminals are clean then the battery may have an internal short.
Instant death is the result. <stacek@knology.net> wrote in message news:1160752052.736940.257670@i3g2000cwc.googlegro ups.com... > Hello: > > I have gotten excellent advice here before. You might try taking it to your local parts store and they can tell you if your battery is shot or not. HTH Eric -- To Reply directly delete "removethis" from email address |
