Hi

My dome light in my 1997 Civic EX began to flicker on and off even with the
engine off. Not sure why, but at the same time my keyless door opener has
failed to work. Any connection?

I'd check the fusebox under the steering column for busted fuses. The
flickering of the light doesn't sound like a fuse though....pull off
plastic covering, check the light to see if needs to be replaced, if
not, unscrew the housing and pull it out to check for loose
connections, or possible water leaking from the sunroof.

Make sure the dome light is in the OFF position before doing this.
