Some have extremely light rims so the wheels shake with balancing errors less than what the typical tire shop targets. I always had to ask for tighter tolerances when getting the wheels balanced on my 97 Civic HX. The rims were so light that I put a tire print on my forehead the first time I lifted a wheel off the car ![]() My Accord Hybrid has back-buster rims despite them being alloy. I doubt it will have wheel shaking problems but I wonder if the car would perform better with something lighter. |
