I bought my civic 3 years ago and its close to hitting the 100k mileage
(round trip commute is 124mi..80%open road). I plan to put at least 300k on
this car. I have changed the oil/filter every 3k miles as well as the air
cleaner when it gets dirty. Other than that (except tires, brake job, etc) I
have performed no other maintence on the car.

My question is.....when I take the car in for its 110k timing belt change
and transmission oil change, what other parts should I replace while its
torn down to that point. I learned the hard way on other honda's or mazda's
that you probably should change all belts and hoses and consider changing
the water pump.

What would you recommend, other than the timing belt?

crankshaft seal (might wait till next belt changeout)
camshaft seal (might wait till next belt changeout)
thermostat
waterpump
t-belt tensioner bearing

Flush out coolant.

If Auto Trans, use honda ATF oil on change out.

id just leave it go

i have and 88 civic with 300k on it never been touched

and goes hard bit of rocker noise when ideling

but i would get an after market cam gear

and advance the camshaft with a new tension bering

and belt if you can aford it

may be 15%+ more power
