Knowing that the new 2005 Accord Hybrid is a hot car, anybody have any
experiences with dealers/brokers that'll sell it at MSRP or below in the LA
area (or surrounding)?? Thanks! -d

I looked at one in Montclair yesterday. Dealer wanted $30,000 and said he
did not have room to budge due to demand. I ended up buying an EX instead. I
honestly can't see paying an extra $7000 for a car which gets only 3 more
miles per gallon on the freeway. The V-6 engine was not important to me. To
me, someone looking at a hybrid is interested in saving money on gas. I
don't really understand Honda's motivation to build this car with a V-6
engine and not a 4. A 4 cylinder would probably get some mileage that would
make it worthwhile.
