GEEEZ. i think most hondas say to change your belt at 60k, if you belt
breaks on a honda the valves can hit the pistons and ruin your engine. you need to change that belt in a hurry, i was just like you, i had 110k miles on my timing belt and it broke on the highway, luckily i have a 87 accord and the valves didnt hit the pistons. i ended up changing the timing belt my self and only spent $25. lots of people put it off because it costs a lot sometimes. lots of small shops will do it for $180 up where i live, near newark and nyc. |
