The paint of my new CBR1000RR is bad. Scratches on the tank are too easily made. My dealer and the Dutch importer say that this is due to new environmental rules (paint on waterbase). Honda does not have a solution for this problem and will not take any actions.

Does anyone of you have the same problem?

I think the only real solution is to repaint the tank...

Have you tried to first retouch the paint (to get the scratches out) and
then put your own clear coat on? Failing that, I would have it repainted.
