Hello everyone.
After hours (ok well... half hours) of searching for info on the web i turn here in hope to find an answer. I have '97 honda civic EX and am changing some stuff here and there. I bought a DC Sports exhaust system and a DC sports 4-2-1 headers (not installed yet). I am increasing the power output of my engine by allowing exhaust gasses to flow better through the exhaust... My question is: Is the OEM catalytic converter limiting the flow of gases through my exhaust therefore limiting my gains? Should I change to a high flow cat? I have heard mixed opinions about this, and I'm confused now. Thank you for any help. |
