HI all
have a 1995 make 96 model Honda Civic hatch back. According to my girlfriend yesterday the right hand turn indicator started doing double time when use i.e. the indicator is blinking twice as fast as the left one - I checked it out and shes correct - also when its being used only the front right hand side indicator light works - the rear one doesn't. The left hand lights and blink rates etc are fine anyone have any thoughts as to what night be the problem is and/or how to fix it? Buzz |

Sounds like a short near or at the rear bulb. If it was just burned out
it would flash slower or just stay lit. The faster flash indicates a higher load, and since the rear is not working, that's where to start. It could be the bulb burned out and the flash of melted metal shorted the bulb internally, but that is very rare. buzz wrote: > HI all > have a 1995 make 96 model Honda Civic hatch back. > According to my girlfriend yesterday the right hand turn indicator > started doing double time when use > i.e. the indicator is blinking twice as fast as the left one - I > checked it out and shes correct - also when its being used only the > front right hand side indicator light works - the rear one doesn't. > > The left hand lights and blink rates etc are fine > > anyone have any thoughts as to what night be the problem is and/or how > to fix it? > > Buzz |
