I have a 4 dr 94 Accord EX sedan. My front passenger door--for whatever
reason--was not closing tightly, so the "door open" indicator and the door lamp were always lit. Before parking my car in the garage for the weekend I thought I pressed hard enough on that door to turn off the indicator and door light. Perhaps, something jarred the door, but come Monday morning my battery was near dead. The door lamp had proibably been on all weekend draining the battery. If I remove the bulb from the door lamp...will the circuitry of indicator on the dashboard still be a drain on the battery? If the engine is shut off, is there any indicator still in operation requiring power from the main battery? |
