Hi there,

TO THE POINT: I have a 90 Honda Accord LX 4 Door auto (4 cyl). My car does not
start (sounds easy so far right?). Car has 180k miles.

Brief Details: I have verified I'm getting spark and fuel. I also verified
my timing belt is intact (cam shaft moves). New caps and rotor. New plugs
(just in case old ones fouled). Two new alternators.

The details (long):
In the last few weeks, the car has died on multiple occasions around town
and on a long road trip. The car would just lose power. Pull off the road and
am not able to start it. In all cases it was a drained battery. Charge
it up or jump start it and we're good to go. Same thing happens recently
around town, however, the car will start when jumpe started. Car is towed home
and we charge battery fully. The car cranks vigoriously, but will not start!
This is now the second alternator so I no longer think this is the cause (at
least not directly). As mentioned above, I've eliminated a few possibilities
and figure it might be (in order of likelyhood) - ECU (computer), main relay,
or injectors.

I just changed the main relay almost two years ago (1 yr 7 months) due to
a problem with the car not starting. The main relay seems to be quite a
problem with these accord. Is it possible the new main relay is going again?

I don't think it's the injectors because we can smell the gas on the plus.
If one injector is bad, the car should start but run rough. Only if we have
four bad injectors I can see the car not starting, but I highly doubt this.

ECU? Haven't elminiated this.

What do you guys think? Bad main relay? Bad ECU? Bad Injectors? Any thing
else I might have missed (besides timing since I'll check that next wk)?
