Now what is your advice please? >thanks a lot. You should have used an aluminum washer as usually supplied with the Honda filters at the dealers. If the parts guy doesn't add it ask for it when you buy filters. You can also use a fiber washer from any hardware store - reuseable for a few oil changes.
