Hello! My name is Peter Brown and I have read many posts on many site regarding Honda's ignorance towards larger people in their vehicles and the fact that the auto locking retractor seat belts lock easy for larger people. I know there are alot of cheezy aftermarket cures to this problem but when it comes to saftey I dont feel we should jeapordize ourselves . I am a master partsman and have done alot of research on my own vehicles(2008 Element and 2008 Fit) . Nissan uses the same seatbelt manufacture as Honda in North America and I know that my fit and Element have the same seat belts as the MURANO & VERSA and Nissan is not ignorant and rude like Honda(yes I am Bitter) and they are willing to supply extenders. You cant tell them what its for just ask for the part by number and knowbody will know the difference. For My Element Nissan PN# is 86848-CD000 and they work well.
