Default More problems with 08 accord

I had an appointment at 8pm tonight and arrived just as it started to rain. Upon finishing the appt, as I got to my car, I noticed all the windows were down and the moon roof was open too. My NEW car now smelled like dirty rain water. Everything was soaked including a NEW Flat Monitor I had just purchased for someone. I know what caused it...that stupid remote. Why would anyone want to roll down all 4 windows and open their moonroof with their remote BUT not put an option to raise the windows back up or to lock them; thus, preventing them from being rolled down.

I've had nothing but problems with this 08 Accord ever since I bought it. I've been to the dealership for other problems and they would not fix the problem. I've also called Honda Care in California and they too have declined to fix the problem.

This will be my last Honda. Never again will I buy a Honda. They advertise their service is the best but when it comes down to it, they are horrible. And now I am stuck with this piece of SH..!!!

I can't go anywhere in my car now. I can't trust it to be locked and trust that the windows do not roll down using the remote. It cannot be disabled so I've been told by Honda. Probably another LIE!!!!

I've now got about 5000 miles on this 08 accord and the mileage has gotten worse. I am now getting 20.2mpg on the highway and that is with the cruise control set at 65mph. I've tried several different speeds...65, 70, 75, 80...and they all get me about the same mileage...20.2. About a week ago, I was on a 2-lane highway and was going to pass the car in front of me. I floored it but nothing happened. The transmission did not shift into passing gear. The speedometer showed 53mph and I got about halfway around the car in front of me when I determined that I was going to have to slow down and follow this vehicle since this 08 accord w/v6 had no power to pass. I finally got another chance to pass this car and still, no downshift into passing gear. It seems that once this car gets into high gear then it stays in high gear until I stop and restart again.

I had this car out at night and the lights are not as bright as my previous 04 accord although the lights on this 08 accord are supposed to be halogen which are supposed to be brighter but they're dimmer than alot of the older cars without them and I've noticed they're not adjusted to show-up down the road as far as the older models do. What is with Honda? Why sell this junk?
