Default Ping: Tegger - 3.2TL Tranny question

Are there any external clutch adjustments that can be made to an 00
3.2TL 5 speed auto trans?

Reason: Between 3rd and 4th gear I don't get a smooth shift at low RPMs.
It is more of a shudder. But if I put my foot down and accelerate harder
there is no shudder. Also, after driving thirty miles or so, the problem
usually goes away and then it shifts normally at low RPMs.

Just FYI, it's been 30K miles since the tranny was replaced. This
shudder has been going on now for at least 20K of the total 30K miles. I
have just been living with it. Btw, I also recently changed the tranny
fluid and replaced it with 3 quarts Genuine Honda ATF. Didn't help.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

James

Right now, with my limited knowledge of automatic transmissions, this
sounds like a line-pressure problem or a shift-solenoid problem. But...

Was the replacement tranny from an Acura/Honda dealer?

What type of fluid was in there before?

Hi Tegger, thanks! Yes, this was done by the Dealer and replaced under
warranty. The fluid that was in the tranny is the stuff that the Acura
dealer put in when they replaced the tranny. I just assume that they
used Honda ATF.
