Oh, you're the guy with the time bomb.

More details about the car, please.

Any aftermarket equipment installed? Any intrusions into the factory
wiring?

IF you've done the wiring harness correctly, and both your new deck and
the old deck don't work, it's quite likely one of the important wires
like the power or ground wire is not connected somewhere.

you can check the viability of your power cable with any cheapo
voltmeter. If you don't know how to do this or don't know what I'm
talking about STOP NOW and just take the thing to a shop and pay them
to fix it. If there's no power from the main power cable, or the ground
wire isn't grounded, you'll have to either find the place where the
wires broken or disconnected or just replace the whole thing.

There is also the possiblility that both decks are dead. Wire them up
to a good 12v source and see if they fire up.
