My MIL light comes on about once per week now. The DTL code is always P0401
(EGR insufficient flow detected).

I read & reset the MIL with my laptop each time. I was advised by a
(non-Acura) mechanic to replace the EGR valve. He also said that the port
might only need cleaning. I'm hesitating to replace it because a new one
costs around $295, and that's just for the part.

Is the EGR on a 00 TL easy to remove and clean?

Anyone else with similar experience?
