Hi, I need a little help here.
'97 3.2 TL I was replacing the rear hub and bearing assembly, and the thing came off without the inner bearing race. That is, the race is still stuck on the shaft. I tried heating it up with the torch, but it won't come off. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Fil |

Use a cut off wheel or angle grinder and cut the race almost through, and
then hit the cut with a hammer and chisel. It should snap the race off. Jafir, Thanks!
Following your advice and using it as an excuse, I went to Costco and bought a Dremel kit, over which I'd been drooling for quite some time. The rest was easy, except that once I hit the race with a chisel, a piece came off. I hit it again, and then noticed that it was slightly rotating on the shaft with each hit. After a couple of turns the rest of it came off by hand. Thanks again!
