Would appreciate anyone with winter driving experience using Bridgestone
Blizzak WS50's and/or Michelin X-ICE tires commenting about same.

I'd particularly like to know how these tires compare against each other.

Tires would be put on a 1996 Integra LS (auto tranny).

Winter driving conditions would include dry/wet/snowy/slushy/icy road
conditions, including occasional patches of black ice (Toronto, Canada).

I can tell you by experience that I used the Blizzak's for 4 season (I live
in montreal) and used them also for one whole summer! The last year I had
them on, had to drive from TO and back to Montreal... Really good control
with those Blizzak's and fantastic and ice. Not too noisy but definetely on
highway speeds, it becomes noticeable.

Personally, this winter I'm going for the X-Ice because of the superior
technology (it's the 'new' Arctic Alpine) and it should be all around better
on snow and heavy snow conditions. I find that ice tires (as the Blizzak's)
tend to be a tad worst on snow... That's my perception. And also, the price
of the X-Ice is a real plus!! I'm getting them for 20$ (4x5$) cheaper than a
brand new set of Blizzak's!!

Well, tell me which one you'll be going for!
