Hi, Is it possible to install a navigation system after the car leaves
the factory? I was told that with the Infiniti G35's this wasn't possible or that it never quite worked right. Is the same true for the TL? If it is possible, would it integrate the sun sensor into the climate control like it would if it left the factory with the nav system? How much would it cost? Thanks |

Remove/upgrade heat/AC controller, install a honkin' big wiring harness, satellite antenna/preamp, replace a fair portion of the dash, plus the dealer cost of a replacement electronics system.... My guess would be close to $4000, installed. My '99 has that navi integrated all over the place, and I'd guess the later models are even more so. --Mort |

There are several aftermarket/in dash systems which you can install, plus several good Garmin and Magellan systems that sit on the dash. In addition, there are a few PDA based nav systems. >>Hi, Is it possible to install a navigation system after the car leaves >>the factory?
