Default 2005 RL

I stopped by the dealer yesterday. The had the new RL. It's absolutely
gorgeous.

Just under $ 49,500 including destination. There is only one model offered.

In Canada (www.acura.ca), it starts at $69500, and you can add up to
$7500 in options. Plus Freight/PDI, that's up to $78000. Add taxes
(15%), that's over $89000.

I bought a house 12 years ago for $85000.

It's a really nice car, though...

Yeah, if you could live in it. ;-) However, my '02 RL will have to last for
awhile, maybe I can pick up a 2007 model, in 2009 of course! They are very
nice cars, and without the TL tranny problems. LOL

The US version of the car does not offer options (supposedly, it comes
loaded with everything). What options are offered on the Canadian model for
the $7500?

Yeah, like around $50,000! AWD, transverse mounted 3.5 V6, 300 HP with a
higher compression ratio than the old 225 HP RL. Also, a new 5 spd. auto.
trans. Watch out for the TL tranny problems? :-D
